I am Phillip Petersen, professionally known as Phillzo, a South African independent artist, songwriter, composer and music creator. My music is rooted in faith, love, life experiences and a desire to connect with people across cultures and generations.
Through my music, I create songs that inspire, encourage, worship and tell meaningful stories. My work spans gospel, prophetic worship, African-inspired music, romantic music, reggae, children’s music and other contemporary styles.
As the founder of Phillzo International Music Group, my vision is to create and share music without borders. I am passionate about using music to reach people around the world and to build a lasting catalogue that reflects my creativity, faith and journey.
Every song is part of that journey, and I believe music has the power to bring people together, strengthen hearts and leave a lasting message.
