About Me:
I am a christian lady who is an introvert but also loves going out and socialising. I truly live for nature as it rejuvenates my spirit. I have one son who is 20 and at college. My passions in life include gardening and redecorating, although I do aspire to travel more and see the world as well. My family is important to me and I adore animals. What else? Oh wow! I am a casual dresser but love the movies and theatre and going out. Sport! it's ok too! to be honest, not my passion but am pretty clued up, not a total ignoramus! I am not crazy about cooking, but can cook! I am passionate about music, especially rock and country, but all types, really. I am very interested in South African literature and the situation in this country, as well as its history.

I am a bit sceptical about dating sites as have come across many people, especially from overseas,(apologies here) who see these as an opportunity to prey on "innocent' kind, friendly women like me. Oh my word, besides that, I am excited about meeting a true gentleman and have met some wonderful guys. I am a lady who is looking for the long term, but realise that this takes time and commitment. Men who like to play the field are strictly not welcome. Eish! Ha ha! Women have tender hearts and get hurt easily.
