Dot, 63 - George

I'm not comfortable on this site at all!.....but seeing that it's not much fun doing things alone, I'm taking this step. :)
I am spontaneous, yet shy, and have a good sense of humour. Humour has kept me going through difficult times and therefore think one should try not to loose your sense of humour, no matter what difficulties life throws your way.
I love nature, art, DIY, gardening, hiking, visiting local markets, road trip to explore new places, relaxing with a glass of wine and good company, theater, my children ....and my cats!
Although I don't regard myself as too adventurous, I have walked the Otter Trail twice! (Quite proud of that!)
I am on this site, not with the idea of looking for a husband, but more to find a
companion/friend with a good heart, caring and honest, to enjoy time together..... and see where this friendship takes us!

I'm looking for a Christian friend, fun loving, caring, honest down to earth companion/friend with who I can enjoy life and special times. It will be wonderful if we share a few common interests - someone who I can feel comfortable with just relaxing in each other's company, and chat about anything.
A good match will also be someone with a positive outlook on life.
....and to add one more thing to my 'wish list' - I hope to find someone who can speak Afrikaans too, or at least try! :)
